BreakTV.com To Promote Veteran Sydicated Reality Series,
America’s Dumbest Criminals Through Its Web Service

 New Orleans – Jan. 27, 2000 -- BreakTV.com, the entertainment promotional website, which began testing in July and officially launched Tuesday at NATPE, announced today it has come to an agreement with Steve Gilreath of Slingshot Networks, producer of America’s Dumbest Criminals, the number four ranked weekly half-hour series*.  BreakTV.com will promote the series on the internet via broadband streaming.

BreakTV.com will stream video highlights of weekly episodes to give potential viewers a “taste” of the show.  At the end of the highlight, the viewer is directed to where and when the program airs in their local market.  Links from BreakTV.com will lead viewers to the America’s Dumbest Criminals’ website and to local station websites where viewers can discover other features offered by the station.  BreakTV.com’s streaming video highlights are formatted for Real Player, Windows Media Player and Quicktime Player and offered in a variety of speeds from dial-up connection to highspeed broadband.

The hit weekly series America’s Dumbest Criminals and its absolutely true and truly hilarious stories of inept criminals returns for its fifth season.  America’s Dumbest Criminals is distributed by MG Perin.
