BreakTV™.com delivers on-demand television shows, such as the classic comedy, The Monkees, My Favorite Martian.   BreakTV™.com promotes traditional television viewership and drives Home Video and DVD sales.

Each of these programs, featured among a powerful line-up, will be delivered in short five to eight minute segments that can be viewed in full-screen TV quality broadcasts at home or at work twenty-four hours a day! BreakTV™.com has assembled a dynamite slate of programming that is popular among the general public. These will be shows watched and loved by audiences all over the world.

The method of delivery is a high-quality video technology in full screen television quality. This new method of delivery developed by two competing technologies allows for full-screen, TV quality, video streaming. This same technology will be used by BreakTV™.com for their advertisers.

BreakTV™.com's strategy for programming are based upon a similar media revolution years ago. In the early days, radio and television shows were typically less than 30 minutes, and often as short as 5 minutes. As the population grew and became more acclimated to the medium, and the technology became more widespread in use, broadcast producers lengthened their programs resulting in what we view today.  This same paradigm occurs with the internet. The ability of the typical person to sit and watch a half-hour show or movie online is limited. Most of the population have computers setup on either a desk at home, or they access the internet from their offices. Therefore, the program has to start in short, easy-to-access segments. By having short 5 to 8 minute segments available online, the average consumer can access the programming during a break in their work schedule. However, short segments of programming does not guarantee success on the internet. The internet presents a new way of delivering content, and as such, this content should be familiar and popular. BreakTV™.com has wisely invested in familiar programs that already have built-in audiences worldwide. Once consumers are accustomed to the new delivery format, BreakTV™.com will begin to evolve its programming to match the viewers habits, including longer program times, original programming, news and educational content. Eventually the company feels that online television programs will evolve into something much different than straight television broadcasts. BreakTV™.com is currently planning a solid strategy for the future that is to include many innovative and well-researched conduits of programming firsts.

TELEVISION QUALITY ADVERTISING ONLINE!

To offset the cost of broadband streaming , BreakTV™.com is bringing something new and very exciting to the Internet advertiser -- Traditional styled television commercials. This enables the advertiser to send a more consistent message, and unlike current Internet banner advertising, which is a small billboard type print ad lost among other banner ads, BreakTV™.com's full-screen video and quality sound delivers the full message the sponsor is sending uninterrupted and without distractions. Another aspect of BreakTV™.com that advertisers are attracted to is the method in which the television commercials will be presented on BreakTV™.com. Commercials will only be 15 seconds long (no time to get up or leave the room!). The BreakTV™.com player has no fast-forward feature, insuring the advertiser the message will be seen by the viewer. The traditional television advertiser will also enjoy the accuracy of Internet tracking and billing. No longer will the advertiser buy a commercial on a particular television program based on projected or inflated Nielson numbers, measured  only twice a year. BreakTV™.com advertisers will receive accurate figures every day of the year, and are only billed for eyeballs who viewed.

Banner Ad revenues will also be part of the BreakTV™.com network. At the conclusion of each program viewers will be sent to an exit or Thank You page. This page will give the viewer options to find that program in their city, replay the program, choose from a selection of other programs or purchase that program.

Key elements in commanding the highest price for sponsorship is the ability to deliver to the sponsor a specific target audience. As a result BreakTV™.com is designing its service with the ability to collect detailed demographic data on each viewer. BreakTV™.com will ask each viewer to answer specific questions such as age, gender, and zip code. This will allow our sponsors to have confidence in their ability to place advertising directed at a specific demographic, which will have maximum impact.

Eventually, BreakTV™.com will be launching software that will cut in commercials based upon the demographics of each viewer, also to include their likes and dislikes. Nothing this sophisticated has ever been part of advertising before. Again, BreakTV™.com will revolutionize the advertising age. With BreakTV™'s new technology, the sponsor can simply buy advertising and target a commercial to a 24-year old male that may enjoy outdoor activities, for instance.
