Tony Nassour
: Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs, creator of BreakTV™.com

Tony Nassour brings over 20 years of hands-on expertise in television program development. This Cable Ace-nominated producer has earned numerous awards in the industry, including 10 Tellys for music videos, commercial production, entertainment programming and corporate videos.

In the early '80s, as the VHS craze was still growing, Tony saw the opportunity to personalize the home video experience. Coming from a film background, he knew there were billions of feet of home movie film that could be seen in a new way : on television : and he founded AMS Video transfer. Almost immediately, he contracted with Thrifty Drug Stores to provide film, photo and video transfer service to over 400 drug stores. Within three years, AMS was contracted with Qualex, a division of Kodak Developing, to provide the service to stores west of the Mississippi. His service contracts also included Sav-On Drugs, Fedco, Payless and hundreds of independent photo outlets, making AMS the largest provider of film, photo, slides, video and international standards conversion on the west coast, servicing almost 3,000 outlets.

His early career focused on commercial creation and production, beginning with local accounts in Los Angeles and ultimately producing numerous national spots. In the early '80s, his first program creation was Trendsetters for NBC-TV Owned Station Group. In the late 80's, as an independent producer, he was a pioneer in production and post production, investing early in non-linear and digital technology. He was able to save his clients thousands of dollars in production costs and time on each project's production design.

Tony created, wrote, line-produced and post produced Cable Ace-nominated comedy specials for Showtime Networks and numerous national promo campaigns and electronic press kits for nearly all the major studios and national syndicators.

His early interest in the Internet, as well as his curiosity of its potential capability as a delivery system for entertainment, inspired him to create BreakTV™.com.
