"Ed" the hot new comedy on NBC
After the worst day of his life, a frazzled New Yorker impulsively flies back to Stuckeyville, his hometown to look up his old high school crush. To everyone's surprise, he decides to stay.
First, Ed (Tom Cavanagh) lost his job as a corporate lawyer. Then he found his wife in bed with the mailman. Distraught, he returned home to
Stuckeyville, Ohio. Once there, Ed makes an effort to recapture his past. He pursues Carol Vessey (Julie Bowen, NBC's "ER"), the most popular girl from his high school class; and he moves in with his best friend Mike (Josh Randall, "Angel"), a doctor whose multi-tasking wife Nancy (Jana Marie Hupp, NBC's "Friends") is valiantly trying to balance work and parenting.
