From
Emmy Award-winning television and film producer Gary David Goldberg
("Spin City," "Brooklyn Bridge," "Family
Ties"), and co-creator/supervising producer Chris Henchy comes
"Battery Park," a comedic look at police detectives from all
walks of life working together in New York's historic Battery Park.
A
half-hour ensemble comedy, "Battery Park" centers around
Captain Madeleine Dunleavy (Elizabeth Perkins, "Big,"
"About Last Night" and the upcoming feature film "28
Days"), the ultra-competitive and hard-edged woman who has her eye
set on the mayor's seat and will stop at nothing to get there.
Working closely with Madeleine is Detective Ben Hardin (Justin Louis,
"Trinity"), the hard-working head detective whose aim is to
keep his group of detectives together at all costs.
"Battery
Park" also stars Jacqueline Obradors ("Six Days, Seven
Nights") as
Elena Vera, the lone female detective who has a mind of
her own; Frank Grillo ("Guiding Light") as Anthony Stigliano (Stig)
and Bokeem Woodbine ("The Rock") as Derek Finley, the dynamic
duo whose partnership takes detective work to another level; Robert
Mailhouse ("Sports Night") as Kevin Strain, the
"Hollywood" cop who moonlights as a bodyguard to celebrities
and Jay Paulson ("Can't Hardly Wait," "Go") as Carl
Zernial, the youngest detective who is imperfect yet lovable.
