Recently
featured in US magazine's 1999 "Hot Guy List," Milwaukee
native Brad Rowe is quite familiar with the limelight. Rowe
first captured Hollywood's attention when he appeared in the 1998
Sundance Film Festival favorite, "Billy's Hollywood Screen
Kiss," as a waiter-musician romanced by a gay photographer played
by NBC's "Will & Grace" star, Sean Hayes.
A year later, Rowe portrayed Shawn Denigen in the New Line Cinema
date-rape drama, "Body Shots," and Erik in the independent
feature, "Stonebrook."
Rowe recently starred alongside Rebecca Gayheart and Marisa Coughlan
in "Wasteland," Kevin Williamson's freshman television
drama. his other television credits include a recurring role as
a dim-bulb intern on NBC's "NewsRadio," as well as a
starring role in the cable movie western "Purgatory" with
Sam Shepard and Eric Roberts.
After graduating with a degree in economics from the Unive5rsity of
Wisconsin, Rowe worked as a finance manager for political campaigns in
Washington, moving soon after to Los Angeles to act and write
screenplays.
As a newlywed, Rowe lives with his wife, Lisa, in Los
Angeles.
