Interview with Amy Smart
"Christie Shales"

Quickly emerging as one of Hollywood's brightest stars, Amy Smart currently heats up the television screen as Ruby on the hit series "Felicity."  Born and raised in Los Angeles, Smart began her acting career as a teenager with roles in the NBC television movies "Her Costly Affair" and "Murderous Passion:  The Diane Borchardt Story."

On the big screen, Smart starred in last year's box-office hit "Varsity Blues," with James Van Der Beek and Jon Voight.  Her film credits also include "Starship Troopers," "A & P," "High Voltage," "Campfire Tales," "The Last Time I Committed Suicide," "Circles" and "Strangeland."

Most recently, she appeared in the Miramax film, "Outside Providence," with Alec Baldwin and Sean Haddisey.  In addition, Smart is slated to play the female lead in DreamWorks's upcoming feature, "Road Trip," directed by Todd Phillips.

Smart lives in Los Angeles where she currently serves as a spokesperson for the non-profit organization Heal the Bay, dedicated to the preservation of Santa Monica Bay.

The '70s airs Sunday, April 30 (9-11pm) and Monday, May 1 (9-11pm)
