Kimberly Williams

As a teenager,  native New Yorker Kimberly Williams began her career acting in commercials.  After high school, she was accepted to the prestigious School of Speech at Northwestern University where she received her big break during her sophomore year.  She was chosen for the role as Steve Martin's daughter in the box-office hit, "Father of the Bride."

Williams put Hollywood on hold and subsequently returned to school to complete her degree.  During that time, she had a starring role in Touchstone Picture's comedy drama, "Indian Summer," with Alan Arkin, Diane Lane and Bill Paxton.

After completing her degree, Williams resumed her acting career, making her television debut in the critically acclaimed series, "Relativity," created by Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz, the producers of "thirtysomething."  She reprised her role as Steve Martin's daughter in "Father of the Bride II," and starred in the films, "Coldblooded" and "The War at Home."  Most recently, she starred in the Miramax film "Elephant Juice," directed by Sam Miller and the Canal Plus Film "Simpatico," with Sharon Stone, Jeff Bridges and Nick Nolte, based on the Sam Shepard play.

Her television credits include the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of Neil Simon's "Jake's Women," "All Together Now" and "Tales From the Crypt."
