Camryn
Manheim
An Emmy and Golden Globe winner, Camryn
Manheim brings a subtle grace and dignity to her role as the
enthusiastically aggressive Ellenor Frutt on David E. Kelly's "The
Practice." Manheim's talents, however, ar not limited to
the small screen. She has appeared in more than fifteen films,
written a best-selling book, and starred Off-Broadway in an
autobiographical one-woman show.
Before her breakout role in "The
Practice," Manheim was a well-known character actress, making
numerous guest appearances on some of television's most popular
series. In 1990 she guest-starred as three different characters in
three separate episodes of the NBC drama, "Law and Order."
She has also made appearances on the critically-acclaimed "Chicago
Hope," "Touched by an Angel" and "Ally
McBeal."
She began her acting career rather
inauspiciously in 1983 as an uncredited extra in "Sudden
Impact" before going on to appear as Poe Picketer in the 1990
drama "Bonfire of the Vanities." In 1994 she played
Virginia Cranehill in the cult hit "The Road to Wellville."
Her feature film credits also include "Eraser,"
"Jeffrey" and "Romy and Michelle's High School
Reunion." In 1998, while balancing an exhausting series
shooting schedule, Manheim appeared in six films including "David
Searching," "The Tic-Code," "Mercury
Rising," "Fool's Gold," "Wide Awake" and
"Happiness."
Manheim was also extremely busy in
1999. In addition to "The 10th Kingdom," she
completed "Joe the King," "East of A," "What
Planet Are You From?" and the television movie "Imagine:
The Loretta Claiborne Story."
Manheim lives in Los Angeles and New
York.

as Snow
White
The Queen of White died
giving birth to her daughter, Snow White.
Snow White’s father raised her in
the Fourth Kingdom and eventually
took another wife. By the time Snow White turned seven, she had become more
beautiful than her stepmother. In a jealous rage, the stepmother sent her huntsman out into
the forest with Snow White to kill the child.
The Huntsman spared the child but left her in the dark forest all
alone.
Snow White was adopted
by seven dwarves. In return, she cooked their meals and tidied up their
cottage. Snow white’s
stepmother eventually tracked her down and poisoned her with a tainted
apple. When the dwarves
discovered her lifeless body, they placed her in a glass coffin high on a
hill in Kissing Town.
One day, a prince came
along and fell in love with Snow White. When he attempted to move her glass coffin to his castle, her
body was jolted and the poisoned apple fell from her lips, reviving her.
The Prince married Snow White and the Evil Stepmother was invited to
the wedding where she was forced to wear iron slippers heated over the
coals. She danced painfully out ino the swamp and was forever exiled from
the kingdom.
Most rulers are
respected, some are feared or held in contempt, but Queen Snow White was
loved like no other. She had a
son as fair of complexion as she, and he grew up to carry on her reign of
benevolence.
On her one
hundred-fiftieth birthday, Snow White left her castle in just the clothes
she stood up in, took no food, and walked through the snow.
She is surely dead, but where she lies now no one knows.
