Daniel LaPaine

A relative newcomer to the industry, Australian-born Daniel LaPaine has quickly made an indelible mark as one of Hollywood's hottest rising stars.  Daniel first turned heads as David Van Arckle in "Muriel's Wedding" in 1994 and again in 1998 as Ziggy Pzoniak in "Polish Wedding" with Claire Danes.  Daniel next took a role in "Dangerous Beauty," which proved to be a springboard for the young star.  He completed "54" in the same year.

1999 proved to be the busiest year yet for Daniel as he completed work on four films, including two of the years biggest hits.  He played Josh in "Say You'll Be Mine" and appeared as Will in the film "Elephant Juice."  He also appeared in one of the box office smashes of the year, "Double Jeopardy," and played Nick Parks in "Brokedown Palace," which reunited him with co-star Claire Danes.

as Prince Wendell

Prince Wendell was born the beloved child of Snow White’s son Whitney and Cinderella’s daughter Ashley.  One night in a terrible rainstorm, while Wendell was still an infant, a poor young woman appeared at the House of White.  Prince Wendell’s royal parents took pity on the woman.  They invited her to live at the castle with them and offered her employment as Prince Wendell’s nursemaid.

One dark day three years later, Wendell’s mother died mysteriously in her sleep. Grief spread rapidly across the nine kingdoms.  Young Wendell wept bitterly for his mother and King Whitney was inconsolable.

The nursemaid continued to care for Wendell and went out of her way to comfort the king.  A year later, the king married the nursemaid and she became the new Queen of White.  Two more years passed and Wendell grew into a well-mannered young prince.

The King fell gravely ill and the townspeople began to whisper that his broken heart had never mended from the loss of his beloved bride Ashley.  Shortly thereafter, Wendell’s father the King died in his bed. Another year passed, and young Prince Wendell came down with a terrible fever.  The kingdom’s physicians were able to run some tests on the sickly prince and, to everyone’s horror, traces of poison were discovered in the child’s blood.  The castle was searched and a canister of rat poison was discovered behind a mirror in the new Queen’s chamber.

Wendell recovered from his illness and the Evil Queen, as she was now called, was sentenced to 1000 years in the maximum-security wing of the newly re-named Snow White Memorial Prison with a small dog as her only company.  She applied for parole from time to time after that and each time Wendell journeyed to the prison to deny her claim.  When Wendell turned twenty, preparations began in earnest for his coronation, set to take place on his twenty-first birthday.  All of the kingdoms set to work crafting the fines gifts to present to their new King.
