(continued)
Jed's
male allies are Phil (Kyle Howard), the somewhat serious academic who is
ecstatic over the school's high rate of Ivy League placement; and the
hormone-crazed Cary (Chris Evans), who is sure that he's the luckiest
guy on the planet. All three young men soon realize that the
secret world of girls is not quite what they expected.
The
boys try to get the upper hand by cultivating relationships with the
resentful girls, like hostile ice princess Stella (Lindsay McKeon), who
makes it clear she prefers things the old way. On the other hand,
popular and beautiful Miranda (Margot Finley) shows an interest in Jed
and soon becomes a key part of their success at Evergreen.
Jed
and the other boys set out to make the best of the situation and get
some inspiration from Ms. Bradley (Garcelle Beauvais), a guidance
counselor who is almost too good-looking for their comfort. One of
their teachers, Mr. Oslo (Chris Hogan), is delighted with the school's
co-ed change, but apathetic to the male students' predicament as they
try to adjust to so much female angst.
Theis
light-hearted, coming of age story also stars: Allison Mack
(Kate), Christopher Cousins (Will) and Chris McKenna (Rob).
