Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer star in a live television presentation of ON GOLDEN POND, to be broadcast Sunday, April 29 (9:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. The drama is a love story about a married couple who return to their summer home and reevaluate their dreams, relationships and mortality throughout their stay. The State Farm Showcase special live presentation will originate from Stage 46 at CBS Television City in Los Angeles, where it will be performed in front of a specially invited celebrity-filled audience.

Ernest Thompson, who wrote the play and won an Oscar for his film adaptation of it, will direct. Craig Anderson, who produced and directed the Broadway and off-Broadway productions is Executive Producer. Tony Award-winner Eugene Lee designed the set.
